How to Fix C Run-Time Error R6034 (C ++) on Windows 7 or Windows Vista

When you are facing an error of Runtime error r6034, with a message like "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the applications' support team for more information", here is the reason and some solutions to fix the problem.

The issue arises due to non support of a "C runtime library" without using a manifest. It occurs when you load Windows or after using a program that requires Visual basic or any other C runtime library.

There are possible solutions to fix the cause. First of all start you Windows on a safe mode as it runs only the most required parts of the operating system. This is done by restarting the computer and pressing F8 key repeatedly until you are directed to the Advance Boot Options Screen. This will filter out the errors that may arise including error r6034. If the problem still persists then reboot the system as it only stops services that are not important to process the system.

Other possible ways are to check for the viruses that may have caused the error; viruses can end up corrupting the settings of the PC. Therefore in order to fix this problem, it is advisable to download a reliable antivirus program such as Avira or XoftSpy.

Another big cause of Runtime error is down to the "registry" of your PC. It is a large database which stores files and settings necessary to run Windows. Registry is also one of the main reasons for many errors because it is constantly being updated through changes on desktop, temporary internet files and cookies stored in your system. It is advisable to use registry cleaner to scan through the part of your computer and repair any of the damaged settings that are inside the database.
